What’s Mortimer Brewster to do? He discovers his two spinster aunts have taken to murdering lonely old men by poisoning them with a glass of home-made elderberry wine laced with arsenic, strychnine, and “just a pinch” of cyanide while his crazy brother breezes through the scene believing he’s Teddy Roosevelt. With local policemen dropping by without any warning, Mortimer realizes dealing with this family is enough to make a man regret getting engaged to the woman he loves. That's when his murderous brother Jonathan decides to come home.
