Casting Call: 'A Christmas Carol'

McCarter Theatre will hold open child auditions for their annual production of "A Christmas Carol."

There will be in person sign-ups on September 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the theater. Information about auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be available, and you can ask any questions you have. Parents will then be able to sign up their children for an audition slot. If you can not attend the in person sign-ups, you will have the opportunity to sign up for the remaining slots online beginning September 20. Afterwards, you will receive a call from the theater to verify the time, and then send an email containing the audition material and appointment. No auditions will be given without an appointment. If you have difficulty with this call the theater at (609) 258-6505 and they'll make an appointment.

Fourteen children are needed, ranging from the age of 5 to 13. You must be inside of that age range by the time of the performances in order to audition. The auditions will take place on September 29 & 30, and callbacks are October 3. Rehearsals will begin November 10, and performances begin November 10.
